I was selected as the Library's Electronic Resources Coordinator (Rank 3 - Assistant Professor) and started on December 2, 2002. In 2003, I applied to transfer my locus of tenure from UH-Hilo to Kapi'olani. There was a one year time-in-title until tenure approval at KCC.
In Fall 2004, I applied for promotion to Rank 4, Associate Professor prior to tenure approval at Kapi'olani. Then-Chancellor John Morton granted a waiver of time and title, essentially counting my four years at Hilo and two years at Kapi'olani as six years at Rank 3.
my promotion dossier lists my activities and accomplishments from 1998 to 2002.
