I have nearly 40 years of work experience in the public and private sectors.

I've lived in rural Nebraska, suburban Atlanta, urban and rural Israel, Washington DC, San Francisco and Oakland, on the Islands of Hawai'i, and O'ahu, and in Upper Michigan on the Keweenaw Peninsula. I worked in Micronesia as a field linguist, have traveled extensively in Europe, and am comfortable with people of diverse backgrounds.
